If you only service in official SC i believe they dont change the gearbox oil until over 5 years or 80~100k and only by request. My sister hubby also drive the same Honda City as yours lucky for me i manage to detect it early and ask him go change the Automatic oil before it gg. The symptoms before the gearbox gg you can felt the gear change is getting lazy and like to delay or dragging the gear and not very responsive even after done normal servicing. Doing it in official Honda SC will give you a Bomb, outside you got option to either fix it or change with half-cut unit.
