The issues you're likely to encounter are going to be of the less serious sort, versus mechanical ones. For example, I've seen a lot of A/C compressors go out in these, and usually, just after the warranty ends; it seems there's a design flaw that lets moisture get up in the system, which eventually results in corrosion and leaks. There's also a higher than typical failure of the front headlights, with the low beams failing sooner than typical, apparently due to loose wire connections. But, these are livable things; there aren't large problems with the tranny or engine itself, which are where the real expensive repairs start.
