The Triton Athlete is the new flagship model of the Triton range, replacing the Triton Adventure X as the range topper. Described by MMM as the “embodiment of toughness refined”, the Triton Athlete is marked by an aesthetic package that’s hard to miss. There’s a big black Dynamic Shield nose consisting of a gloss black under garnish and gloss black radiator grille. With the Triton Athlete onboard, the Malaysian Triton range now reads as Triton Athlete, Triton AT Premium (RM121,000), Triton MT Premium (RM113,300), Triton AT (RM105,990), Triton MT (RM100,200) and the workhorse Triton Quest (RM79,890).
Mitsubishi Triton (2019) is a 4X4 Pickup Truck with 2.4L MIVEC Turbo Diesel DI-D Common Rail VGT Intercooler engine with both automatic and manual transmission option. Mitsubishi Triton (2019) available in five variants which is Triton VGT, VGT Premium, and VGT Adventure X. The Triton VGT and VGT Premium came with AT and MT transmission option while Adventure X model only available in AT transmission. Mitsubishi Triton (2019) price in Malaysia starts from RM100,200 for the base Triton VGT with the manual transmission. While the Triton VGT Adventure X with Mitsubishi Advanced Safety features priced at RM135,200.
Kita pun telah menyaksikan peluncuran beragam seri kendaraan Honda Motors ‘Mugen Motorsport’ di Filipina, dan mobil-mobil edisi terbatas eksklusif lainnya yang baru saja diluncurkan di Malaysia oleh Mitsubishi Motors. Dengan diberi nama sebagai Mitsubishi Triton edisi ‘Phantom’, truk pickup mewah 4x4 ini membatasi produksinya hanya sebanyak 200 unit. Phantom 4x4 ini melapisi keseluruhan dirinya dengan warna hitam-kental yang selaras dengan nama yang diusungnya, yaitu ‘Phantom’, selain juga ingin memberikan penampilan menggoda. Edisi Phantom berbagi mesin yang sama, yaitu 2,5-liter, seperti yang difungsikan Triton 4x4 dan dipadukan dengan transmisi otomatis 5-percepatan. Bila membahas mengenai harganya, Triton edisi Phantom ditawarkan dengan kisaran 115,680 ringgit (sekitar Rp 366 juta) atau melebihi harga semua trimnya.
Mitsubishi Triton Phantom Spesial Edition Menggebrak Pasar Mobil MalaysiaMitsubishi Triton Phantom Spesial Edition beberapa waktu lalu terlihat ikut meramaikan pasar mobil Pick Up Truck di negara tetangga Malaysia. Pada bagian black leather seats Mitsubishi Triron Phantom Spesial Edition memberikan emblem ‘Phantom’ yang membuat kesan esklusif mobil ini menjadi lebih kuat. Seperti yang kita ketahui bersama, untuk Phantom spesial edition ini Mitsubishi sengaja hanya memproduksi 200 unit saja untuk menegaskan bahwa mobil ini benar-benar spesial yang hanya diproduksi dalam jumlah sedikit. Untuk warga Malaysia yang tertarik memboyong mobil tangguh nan mempesona ini Mitsubishi menawarkan mobil ini dengan harga RM 115,680 atau jika dikonversi kerupiah yaitu sebesar Rp. Sampai saat ini belum ada kabar dari pihak Mitsubishi apakah mobil ini juga akan meraimakan pasar Pick Up Truck di Indonesia.

Imported CBU from Thailand, the new-gen pick-up truck is available in five variants – Triton VGT Adventure (AT only), Triton VGT AT, Triton VGT MT, Triton MT and Triton Quest (4X2 MT only) – priced from RM67,604 to RM108,274 OTR without insurance, GST inclusive. The top-spec Triton VGT Adventure gets plenty of kit. For the VGT-powered models, the VGT MT is priced at RM92,115, while the VGT AT comes in at RM98,550. The Adventure and Adventure X variants also get an eight-way power-adjustable driver’s seat, bringing the Triton up to date with the rest of the segment. The MIVEC engine on the VGT models may be old news, but it still warrants mention here. All VGT models come with four-wheel drive with an Easy Select knob for switching between 2WD and high- and low-range 4WD modes. All things considered, the latest Mitsubishi Triton is good enough to once again become a solid contender.
