Seperti dilansir Carscoops, ubahan yang dibenamkan pada Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution VI RSX 2000 ini antara lain adalah tidak ada sistem pengereman ABS, aluminium hood, front wings, stiffer sheel, quick release steering dan stripped out di bagian interiornya. Sebagai informasi, berbekal beberapa ubahan yang disematkan, kini bobot mobil tersebut lebih ringan 110 kg dari versi Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution VI pada umumnya.
