What is the best setting for a Mitsubishi heat pump? Mitsubishi is widely considered to make among the best and most reliable ductless heat pump systems. Your heat pump will run most efficiently when set to “HEAT” in winter and “COOL” in summer. Among their most successful line of heat pumps is the Fujitsu mini split heat pump – a highly efficient heat pump that comes with a number of great features. What is the best Ecodan heat pump?

What if this doesn’t work? If you have followed the instructions in this guide and have been unable to get the immersion working, then please get in touch with our technical support team. Even if you have managed to successfully follow the instructions in this guide, the fact that you’ve needed to do this indicates that you have a fault with the heat pump, and will likely require further technical support from us, or an engineer visit, to resolve the problem. Please call us or submit a contact form below and we will call you back.
Something you can see here just looking at the tank temp maroon line at the top (chart is last 24 hours of time). At around midnight the HW temp falls to about 40 degrees which triggers the pump to bring it back up to 50. Given I know no one is going to use the HW until 7am, is heating up at midnight a waste? It seems like that intially, but then you have to factor in that the tank temp would still fall further if not reheated at midnight. Wondering if I could / should stop the HW heating up at midnight?
Yes i got the same info from my installer new sw on the way so hopefully this will fix all the minor and major bugs. With these settings i have managed to keep the house warm (around +21,5C) and the ammount of ww has been enough running on compressor only with outside temp < -20C. If you are running radiators the heatcurve is set for the returnwater and for floorheating you are setting the outgoing temp. However measuring the outgoing temp would require an additional sensor as i have also a sensor measuring the returnwater only. Noticed the same bug also, i tried to force my to use the electric heaters and set the outside cutoff compressortemp to -10C when the outside temp was in fact -24C and it didn't stop so....
The Heat pump heats the water tank during 'off-peak' hours twice per day, every day (these are my new settings). The 'Ecodan' unit is only capable of reaching 55C so an immersion heater is included within the water cylinder to take the water tempature up to 60C and killing any legionella bacteria in the process. The immersion heater is set using a time clock and separate to all of the other heating functions. My question is -How many times per day/week should I opperate this immersion heater and heat our water to 60C? I was considering setting the immersion heater to operate only once or maybe twice per week.
